“Before Vitalis started to provide support, I was finding it increasingly difficult to manage everything by myself,” says Jon, whose wife Cate was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2015.
“As Cate’s condition deteriorated it became necessary for me to step up and to take on the sole responsibility for roles that, previously, we had shared. This was in addition to making sure that Cate took her medication, got to various health specialists’ appointments, etc. It was also becoming more difficult to find time to exercise, and just be by myself.
