How do I access Vitalis Hospital at Home care?
Your GP or hospital healthcare professional will be able to advise if you are medically able to be treated at home. They can then refer you to Vitalis. Our team will then confirm if we are able to support you.
What accreditations does Vitalis Hospital at Home have?
All Vitalis Hospital at Home services are accredited to NSQHS standards. This means you can be assured of receiving hospital-standard care at home. Vitalis is one of only three healthcare-at-home providers to have this level of accreditation.
Are your nurses and carers Vitalis employees?
Yes, every Vitalis staff member is a direct employee, not a subcontractor. This ensures quality of care and means you will never be in the position of having to directly pay our nurses or caregivers.
How do I pay for Vitalis Hospital at Home services?
Some Vitalis Hospital at Home services (including Hospital in the Home and Rehabilitation in the Home) are covered by many private health insurers, generally with no out-of-pocket expenses. They can also be accessed on a user-pays basis.
Other services, like Complex Care in the Home, may be funded by the NDIS.
