What help does your child need?
Vitalis is a registered NDIS provider. We can deliver up to 24-hour core/carer supports for children and young people aged 0-17. These include:

Bed transfers and other transfers

Wound dressing; wound and pressure care supports

Medication management

Respiratory support (including tracheostomy care and ventilator care)

Nasogastric tube care and PEG tube care

Mobility support

Incontinence care management and assessment

Who can use Vitalis NDIS Services for Children?
Vitalis NDIS Services for Children are available for eligible NDIS participants aged 0-17. Vitalis is an NDIS Registered Provider, which means our services meet the NDIS Practice Standards. Those services can be booked by NDIS participants who manage their own funding (self-managed plans), NDIS plan managers, NDIS support coordinators or participants with NDIA-managed funding.

How do I know if I’m allowed to claim for Vitalis NDIS Services for Children?
The NDIS is managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). It says claims must be ‘reasonable and necessary’ to be approved. Claims are assessed individually, and:
- Must be related to a participant’s disability
- Must not include day-to-day living costs not related to a participant’s disability support needs, such as groceries
- Should represent value for money
- Must be likely to be effective and work for the participant
- Should take into account support given to the participant by other government services, their family, carers, networks and the community.
